At Up First Management we guarantee that any client you send to us will be referred back to you upon their decision to sell. We do not buy or sell real estate at Up First Management for this exact reason. We stick to what we’re good at, property management.
Real Estate Agents typically refer clients to us for one of three reasons:
Investor Client. The agent wants to provide value to their investor clients who will need a property manager upon closing. We handle investor clients frequently. As real estate investors ourselves, we will walk your client through the current market trends. In addition to this, we will compare their analysis of the prospective properties they are looking at to ensure their return-on-investment is where it needs to be.
Accidental Landlords. The client’s property has been listed too long and the owner or agent is looking into renting to hedge risk. This is a common theme in today’s market. Many owners cannot sell their home and therefore need to at least cover the mortgage as they are moving. We will assist these owners in conducting an analysis of what their home will rent for and assist in their decision if renting is the right call.
Realtor & Manager. These agents primarily do buy/sell side of real estate, but have a small property management portfolio themselves to ensure the sale on the backside. Because property management is not their primary focus, it is a burden to their main business. Is this you? Sound familiar?
